Funeral services for Debra Ann Quijas 55 of Elkhart, will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at Bailey & Foster Chapel Palestine with Rev. Butch Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Guiceland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine. Mrs. Quijas passed away Wednesday at the David E. Foster Hospice Unit/PRMC. She was born March 13, 1956 in Pasadena, Tx., to Kenneth and Maurine Shipper Knowlton. She was a homemaker and owner of Nana’s Sweets & Treats, and a member of the Assembly of God. Mrs. Quijas was preceded in death by her sister Linda Kay Harris. She is survived by her husband Buddy Quijas of Ben Wheeler, parents Kenneth and Maurine Knowlton of Elkhart, daughters Jodie Dollison and husband Royce of Ben Wheeler, Stephany Rosas and husband Rudy of Elkhart and Chelsy Rowe of Ben Wheeler, brothers Kenneth Alvin Knowlton and wife Deborah of Mathis, TX., Lyman Knowlton and wife Deborah of Excel, AL. and Edward Knowlton and wife Avon of Merryville, LA., step-daughter Anessa Quijas and husband Ryan Guzman of Wharton, TX., grandchildren, Rudy Rosas II, Tiffany Rosas, Mark Quijas, Debra Hannah Quijas and Rhianna Guzman. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Allen, John Cook, Bryan Everitt, W.H. Little, James MacWhirter and Danny Medders. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Alexander, Jr., Timothy Booth, Eric Daigle, Randy Hensley, Ralph Jolley, Norma King and Josh Wilkerson. Condolence calls will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Bailey & Foster Palestine.
